FAQ

Questions, answered straight.

The things people usually ask before working with me — how a project runs, who owns what, where to get the apps, and how support and privacy work. If yours isn’t here, just ask.

Working with me

What does Mangal Tech actually build?

Custom Android apps — and the web portals and admin systems that go around them when a project needs the whole loop, not just a screen. Some of it is client-commissioned work; some are my own products. Either way, it’s real software people use every day, not demos.

What is it like working with a one-person studio?

You talk to the person who actually writes the code, start to finish. There’s no account manager relaying messages to a developer three desks away, because there’s no one else here — which means fewer layers, faster decisions, and a questionable sleep schedule that is entirely my problem, not yours.

How does a project start?

Email me at support.mangaltech@gmail.com with what you want built and who it’s for. A few lines is enough to begin — screenshots, rough notes, or a link to something similar all help. From there we work out the real scope together before anything gets built.

How do I know if my app idea is a good fit?

The sweet spot is a focused Android app — on its own, or with a web portal and admin system behind it. Send me the idea and the core thing a user needs to do, and I’ll tell you honestly whether it’s something a one-person studio should build. If it isn’t a fit, I’ll say so rather than over-promise.

What will it cost, and how long will it take?

There’s no templated price list, because no two builds are the same. Once I understand the scope, I’ll give you a real quote and a realistic timeline — not a number pulled out of thin air on the first call.

Who owns the finished app and the code?

You do. It’s your product — I build it for you, and the finished app and its code are yours. If there’s anything specific you want nailed down about that, we sort it out up front so there are no surprises.

Can you make changes after the app is launched?

Yes — I don’t disappear at launch. Apps need the occasional fix, tweak, or new feature once they’re out in the world, and we handle that as it comes up. There’s no rigid maintenance contract; it’s the same direct line to me you had while building it.

Can you get my app onto Google Play?

Yes. I build with the store in mind — privacy policy, permissions, and the listing handled properly — so publishing and review go smoothly instead of becoming their own project. Gold Master and Cista Medicorp are both live on Google Play.

Do you only build Android apps?

Android is where I start, but plenty of projects need more than the app. Vishal Rewards, for instance, is an Android app plus a web portal and a full admin system. If your idea needs the web and admin around it, I build that too.

The apps

Where can I download Mangal Tech’s apps?

Gold Master and Cista Medicorp are on Google Play. Vishal Rewards is a private client system rather than a public download, and Milk Hisaab is still being polished — not released yet.

What does Gold Master do?

It’s a gold-and-silver rate app for the people who quote across the counter. It compares rates from several sources, shows the day’s highs and lows, sends target alerts, runs the calculators the job needs, and keeps a portfolio on your device. It provides market information only — not financial advice.

What is Cista Medicorp used for?

A product-catalogue and visual-aid app for a pharmaceutical field team. Reps search by composition, browse by therapy, present product details and share them in one tap, and work out retailer and stockist pricing with a built-in calculator — each role getting the view that fits. It’s for product reference, not medical advice.

Why can’t I download Vishal Rewards?

Because it was built for one brand’s trade network, not the public. Vishal Modular’s electricians, counter boys and retailers use it to scan QR coupons, earn points and redeem gifts, backed by a web portal and an admin system the brand runs itself. It’s a good example of the full app-plus-web-plus-admin loop I build.

Is Milk Hisaab available yet?

Not yet — it’s still being polished. It’s an offline-first take on the paper milk diary: morning and evening entries, monthly hisaab, supplier dues, shareable bill text, reminders, and a local backup, with no login and no cloud account.

Support & privacy

Is my data kept on my phone, and do the apps work offline?

It depends on the app, but the ones built to be device-first keep your data on your device. Milk Hisaab works offline with no login or cloud account, and Gold Master keeps your portfolio locally. Anything that genuinely needs the internet, like a live rate, will say so.

How do I get support or ask a privacy question?

Email support.mangaltech@gmail.com with the app’s name and what’s going on. You’ll be talking to me — the person who wrote the app and maintains it — not a ticket queue.
