1. Who this policy is for
This Privacy Policy explains how Milk Hisaab handles information when you use the app to maintain a household milk diary. Milk Hisaab is built as a no-login, device-first app. The core milk diary is stored on your own phone, not in a Milk Hisaab cloud account.
2. Information you enter in the app
You may enter milk source names, milk source type, rates per litre, usual daily quantity, delivery frequency, daily quantities, morning/evening session entries, entry notes, monthly payments, reminder preferences and app settings. This information is used to show Today, Calendar, Hisaab, supplier totals, bills, reminders, backup files and restore results.
3. Local storage and no account
Milk Hisaab does not ask you to create an account. Your milk diary records are saved in the app database on your device. We do not operate a server that receives your milk source names, daily entries, notes, bills or payment records during normal app use.
4. Device backup and manual backup files
Your phone or Google account may back up app data through Android backup if your device backup settings allow it. Milk Hisaab also lets you export a JSON backup file. That file can contain your milk sources, entries, payments and settings. You choose where to share or save the file, such as Drive, email or another app. After you share or store a backup outside Milk Hisaab, that destination handles it under its own privacy practices.
5. Restore and file picker access
When you restore data, the app uses the file you select through the system file picker. Milk Hisaab reads the selected backup file to validate and restore it. The app does not scan unrelated files on your device.
6. Sharing hisaab text
When you use a share action, such as sharing monthly hisaab text or a backup file, the app opens the device share sheet. You choose the receiving app. The receiving app may be WhatsApp, email, cloud storage or another service, and that service is responsible for how it handles the shared content.
7. Notifications and permissions
If you enable reminders, Milk Hisaab requests notification permission and schedules local reminders on your device. Reminder times and whether permission was requested are stored in app settings. Notification permission can be turned off in the app or in phone settings.
8. Ads
Milk Hisaab may show banner ads on selected screens. Ads are provided through Google AdMob. Google and its partners may process information such as device identifiers, advertising identifiers, approximate location, app interactions, diagnostics and ad performance information to provide, limit, measure and improve ads, depending on your device settings, consent choices and Google policies. Milk Hisaab does not send your milk diary entries, supplier names, rates, notes or payment records to AdMob for ad targeting.
9. Remove Ads purchases
Milk Hisaab may offer a one-time Remove Ads purchase through Google Play Billing. Purchase processing, payment method handling, refunds, order records and purchase account information are handled by Google Play and your app store account. Milk Hisaab stores only the app setting needed to remember that ads have been removed on this device after a successful purchase or restore.
10. Information we may receive from you
If you contact the developer for support, you may choose to send your name, email address, screenshots, backup excerpts, device information or a description of your issue. We use that information only to respond to your request, investigate bugs, improve the app and maintain records of the support conversation.
11. Data sharing
We do not sell your milk diary records. Your information may be shared only when you choose to share it through export or share features, when third-party services such as Google AdMob or Google Play Billing process their own service data, when your device backup provider backs up app data according to your settings, or when disclosure is required by law.
12. Security
The app is designed to keep core diary data local to your device. You are responsible for keeping your phone, lock screen, Google account and backup files secure. Backup files may be readable by anyone who can access the file, so store and share them carefully.
13. Retention and deletion
Milk Hisaab keeps records on your device until you edit them, delete them, restore over them, clear app data or uninstall the app. Soft-deleted entries may remain in the local database for audit and restore consistency. Backup files remain wherever you saved or shared them until you delete them from that location.
14. Your choices
You can edit entries, delete entries, deactivate milk sources, turn reminders off, deny notification permission, export a backup, restore a backup, remove backup files from places you saved them, reset app data through device settings, or uninstall the app.
15. Children
Milk Hisaab is intended for household record keeping and is not directed to children. Do not use the app to knowingly submit personal data about children beyond ordinary household milk records.
16. Third-party policies
Google services used by the app, including Google Play Billing and Google AdMob, are governed by Google policies. You can review the Google Privacy Policy at https://policies.google.com/privacy and Google Play terms and settings in your Google account.
