The brief
In a lot of Indian homes the milk from the doodhwala is still tracked on a paper diary or a chit stuck to the fridge — how much came this morning and evening, at what rate, from which supplier — and it all gets settled at the end of the month. It works, until a chit goes missing, the totals are disputed, or the maths is done twice and comes out differently.
Milk Hisaab digitises that ritual without changing it. The brief was deliberately narrow: keep the same morning-and-evening rhythm people already trust, make the month-end settlement effortless and shareable, and ask for nothing in return — no account, no cloud, no signal required. A diary, not a platform.
